Breaking and holding new grounds – investing in grassroots leaders
Our Cindy Leadership Fellows first cohort of female leaders were selected in Education Sector. The fellows were identified and have started the engagement with first taking part in professional development trainings. We have seen new energy as the fellows are hitting the ground running to implement all the knowledge they had acquired in their communities.
During our resent visit one of our fellow, Ms Asenath Ngari shared with us how valuable the training had been because it has helped her manage her time better which has in turn improved her general well- being. Madam Christine Mwikali spoke enthusiastically about how she had since been able to foster a greater sense of team spirit at her school and the pupils’ results were proof of how excellently and efficiently a well led and motivated team will execute their duties.
We believe to continue walking together with the women leaders in our communities to break and hold new grounds for sustainable development.
